HELP US FEED HUNGRY CHILDREN!

Join us on Monday, September 28th as we gather to support Backpack Blessings, a community-sponsored food program whose passion is feeding hungry students. Tickets are only $25 and include an evening at Bricks & Barrels consisting of fun, food, drinks, games, prizes, and live entertainment. Door prizes include a gift certificate to Embassy Suites in Charleston, a Weber grill set, a gift certificate for Bricks and Barrels, art work, flowers from Young’s Floral, fall wooden decorations, beauty supplies, autographed books from Steve Kittner, a gift certificate for tanFASTiq tanning salons, and many more. But that’s not all. Renowned crooner John Eric Booth will entertain guests with his powerful vocals and humorous personality.

Tickets may be purchased at Bricks & Barrels at any time up to the start of the event (5 PM). ALL proceeds go directly to Backpack Blessings, feeding hungry children via their community-funded and supported backpack program. Hurry, a limited quantity of tickets are available and once we’re sold out, we cannot sell more due to space limitations.

About Backpack Blessings

Backpack Blessings provides food to needy students in the local area. Funded solely through donations and supported through volunteers, the charity provides a backpack of nutritious, kid-friendly food at the end of each week to over 120 students. For many, this becomes their main source of food outside their school. The group’s goal is to help ease the hunger of children so that they attend school regularly, have better health, and can be successful. The program currently services children from seven different schools in the Elk River area, with aspirations to expand the program countywide. More information regarding Backpack Blessings via their website or their Facebook page.
